To mark DORA’s 12th anniversary, the team at DORA has launched A Practical Guide to Implementing Responsible Research Assessment at Research Performing Organizations, that introduces actionable strategies for reforming research assessment practices. This guide offers practical steps—such as engaging leadership, forming working groups and creating communication plans—to support organisations in driving meaningful change.
Three global online panel sessions will explore the guide’s application in various research environments:
- Asia-Pacific: May 15, 2025, 14:00 AEST
- Africa & Europe: May 16, 2025, 10:00 BST
- Americas: May 16, 2025, 14:00 EDT
The guide includes global case studies from institutions in Canada, Denmark and Japan, showcasing successful reform efforts. Co-developed with key stakeholders, the guide is part of Project TARA, supported by Arcadia and complements other DORA initiatives focused on advancing research assessment reform.
For more information and to register for each of the sessions, visit the DORA website.
