Adopting the OpenAIRE version 4 metadata standard is a clear step towards repository visibility, but implementing it requires time and technical expertise. That is why no repository manager should have to undertake this work alone. Through the ORI network, you can receive direct support while working alongside others facing the same transition.
Until August 2026, ORI is providing a range of supports to accelerate adoption of the OpenAIRE version 4 standard across Ireland. This includes hands-on done-for-you support for selected repositories, in addition to guidance and practical assistance for participating teams.
Six open repositories are already receiving support through the initiative, with three additional ones preparing to begin.
