Review of Open Research in Health
Kalpana Shankar and Gail Sheppard of ROCHE (A Review of Open Research in Health) presented their work in progress at the Sonraí Conference at University College Cork 19-20 June (pictured) 2024. Kalpana also presented work in progress at the Society for the Social Studies of Science/European Association for the Studies of Science and Technology (4S/EASST) Annual Conference in Amsterdam on 17 July 2024. They also have a paper accepted in collaboration with Dr Alesia Zuccala of the University of Copenhagen which will be presented at the Science and Technology Indicators conference in Berlin on 19 September.
Kalpana Shankar co-organised with Christo Jacob (PhD student, Information and Communication Studies, UCA) the first (and hopefully not last) Irish Science, Technology, and Society unconference event on 25 June 2024 at the Museum of Literature of Ireland (MoLI) in Dublin. https://digitalpolicy.ie/creating-an-irish-science-technology-and-society-sts-community-an-unconference-prof-kalpana-shankar/
