Practitioners involved in health research without a formal academic affiliation are invited to complete a short online survey which will provide information to assist with the establishment of an Open Health Research Ireland Network (OHRIN).
The project aims to establish OHRIN to support health and social care practitioner-researchers to produce and publish Open Access research articles. OHRIN will be a membership network to aid practitioner-researchers in publishing their research alongside a Diamond OA journal, free for its readers and without any associated publishing fees for its authors.
This initiative was developed via a project funded under the National Open Research Forums (NORF) Open Research Stimulus fund and is being delivered through a partnership led by Trinity College Dublin and the Health Service Executive with partners including the ICGP, HSE, Lenus Irish Health Repository, Irish Open Access Publishers (IOAP) RCSI Library and UCD, School of Nursing Midwifery & Health Systems.
