Call for contributions: Workshop on Open Citations & Open Scholarly Metadata (WOOC)

Researchers, scholarly publishers, funders, policymakers, institutions, and advocates of open citations are invited to attend, participate in, and/or contribute to the Workshop on Open Citations and Open Scholarly Metadata (WOOC) 2025. This year’s event will focus on the theme ‘Open Access of Research Information.’ The deadline for participation in WOOC is Friday, 31 January 2025.

Research Organization Registry (ROR) Annual Community Meeting 2025: National PID Policies and Practices

Webinar series: Irish National Open Access Monitor
13 February, 13 March and 10 April, 2025, 12 p.m. | Online
In March 2024, NORF, Irish Research e-Library (IReL) and OpenAIRE jointly launched the pilot National Open Access Monitor, providing a cornerstone in Ireland’s move towards a fully open access research ecosystem.
In November 2024, IReL confirmed the extension of their agreement with OpenAIRE to develop and roll out the National Open Access Monitor. The original contract, which ended in June 2024, has been extended until the end of April 2025.
In order to further support the project, IReL and OpenAIRE are running an exciting programme of five online events (with a variety of themes) to better engage with and support the Irish research community. The next webinar ‘Strengthening Collaboration: Monitor & Repository Integration‘ is on Thursday, 13 February 2025.

Love Data Week 2025: What’s love got to do with… data policies?
