Diamond Ireland Publishing Summit is a national gathering for publishing and open access professionals taking place on Thursday 3 September 2026, 10.00 am – 4.00 pm, at the McNeill Theatre, Trinity Long Room Hub, Trinity College Dublin.

Diamond Ireland Press is Ireland’s national diamond open-access journal hosting platform, funded by the National Open Research Forum (NORF) and delivered by a cross-institutional team.

This summit is Diamond’s first opportunity to bring together publishers, editors, and open-access professionals to share experiences, explore challenges, and shape the future of scholarly publishing in Ireland.

The day will include expert speakers, a World Café discussion session, and dedicated networking time. A CPD certificate of attendance will be issued, and some unwaged/student travel grants are available.
