The Principles of Open Scholarly Infrastructure (POSI) Adopters are requesting the public’s feedback on proposed revisions to POSI with a deadline of Wednesday, 5 March 2025.

A5.4.2 of the National Action Plan for Open Research 2022–2030 advocates for the development of a process to operationalise the POSI in evaluating and monitoring research infrastructures. NORF is pleased to see that POSI continues to evolve to meet the needs of the community. The updated version strengthens the operationalisation of POSI principles by ensuring that Research Infrastructures (RIs) remain open, transparent, accountable, and sustainable. It also vows to make RIs more accessible to researchers based on scientific merit, reducing barriers to access while promoting good governance, transparency, and sustainability.
