NORF Tender Open to Review and Analyse the Persistent Identifier Landscape in Ireland

NORF seeks a consultant to undertake a review and analysis of the Persistent Identifier (PID) landscape in Ireland with the aim of developing, a) an Irish PID Cost-Benefit Analysis and b) a National PID Strategy and Roadmap. PIDs are a key infrastructure supporting open research; their adoption and integration by key stakeholders in the Irish research ecosystem enables consistent monitoring of research outputs, increases interoperability, and contributes significantly to making digital objects findable, accessible, interoperable, and reusable (FAIR).
