On 10 July 2023, as part of its mission to evaluate the feasibility of establishing a national publishing platform for Ireland, the NORF-funded project PublishOA.ie held a webinar with platform providers Coko Foundation (Kotahi), Janeway and the Public Knowledge Project’s Open Journal Systems (PKP/OJS) which focused on journal publishing.

Demos of the systems were presented by Ryan Dix-Peek (Project Manager – Coko Foundation), Dr Caroline Edwards (Executive Director, Open Library of Humanities – Janeway) and Mariya Maistrovskaya (Digital Publishing Librarian, University of Toronto – OJS).

This webinar aimed to give those involved in journal publishing or those curious about open source systems, the opportunity to see different platforms in action and put questions directly to the teams involved.
